On Monday July 15th teamArchie is hosting a very special day as guests of Great Dixter, the incredible gardens in East Sussex created by the celebrated Christopher Lloyd.
The day and tour for around 40 teamArchie supporters has been gifted by Fergus Garrett at Dixter and we have managed to persuade Anna Pavord (Probably Britains’s finest Gardening Writer) to guide us.
Anna Pavord's books include her bestseller, The Tulip, The Naming of Names and her most recent work, Landskipping. Her column in the Independent newspaper ran for 30 years from the paper’s launch in 1986 until the paper’s last print edition. She now contributes to the Sunday Times and is an Associate Editor of the magazine Gardens Illustrated. She served for ten years on the Gardens Panel of the National Trust, the last five as chairman. She also served three 3-year terms on English Heritage's Parks and Gardens Panel. In 2001 she was awarded the Gold Veitch medal from the Royal Horticultural Society. Christopher Lloyd was a dear friend and mentor for more than 30 years and Anna is now Patron of the Great Dixter Charitable Trust.
Spots are extremely limited for this incredible day so do get in touch asap if you would like to join us.
