“I need to do something and I want to run a marathon” he said. So Hugo threw himself into training in Edinburgh. Freezing conditions and so much wind on the Firth of Forth meant that getting marathon fit in the dark and keeping up with his Engineering degree made for a tricky winter. However, in the spring it was all worthwhile when in the sunshine in Paris Hugo completed the marathon for his brother. We were all there to support him and managed to catch glimpses of him on the Champs Elysees, the Place de la Concorde and under the Eiffel Tower. Hugo completed his first marathon in 3 hours 35 minutes and raised over £25,000. We are so proud of you Hugo Lloyd!
