On August 23rd 2016 Ollie climbed to an altitude of 4.478m to conquer The Matterhorn. Starting in the dark with just head torches to see and using crampons on the ice covered summit he and his guide made their final ascent. Roped together at all times and using fixed ropes on the verticals, they completed the final climb in 3 1Ž2 hours. Ollie spent time at the top with Archie who had inspired him to undertake this challenge. The boys had undertaken many physical challenges and activities together and this seemed to Ollie to be a fitting tribute to Archie. Thank you Ollie Sangster.
