The AJ Bell Courmayeur Classic with Snow-Camp

teamArchie is excited to be working with a new charity partner Snow-camp this year by supporting five youngsters through their four stage inspirational winter sports programme.

You may also have seen the charity featured a few weeks ago on ski Sunday.

teamArchie were able to join Snow-Camp for a weekend in Courmayeur to raise awareness and fundraise for the charity. Our team consisted of Archie’s Dad, two of Archie’s godfathers and a long term family friend all who had skied with Archie, although none of them were able to keep up with him - a big thank you to them for their support.

The Snow-Camp team ran a two day ski challenge brilliantly that included - orienteering; biathlon; snow show race; team slalom (teamArchie managed a creditable 3rd out of 12). The racing was hosted by Graham Bell and Chemmy Alcott who are long-term supporters of Snow-Camp - James Lloyd managed to catch up with Graham Bell and CEO of Snow-Camp, Dan Churlish during apres-ski.

The highlight of the event (apart from the skiing) was hearing three of the charity’s beneficiaries speak on Friday night about their experience with Snow-Camp and how the programme and opportunity to try snow sports had turned their lives around - truly inspirational.

teamArchie will keep you posted on our five bursars who are just working through level 3 of the Snow-Camp programme this season......
